brown eyes

Everytime I get to see “F” I usually get the biggest smiles….well, not today! I would play, make funny sounds, get a smile, but as soon as I lifted my camera to my eye…POOF! The smile was gone. His mom and I couldn’t believe it. He just wasn’t quite sure of that square black toy that kept popping up. Somehow, however, those big brown eyes melted my heart, and I kept working. Finally, I was able to capture a few special moments.

any day now….

Today, I got to enjoy the smiles and giggles of a wonderful family. It is a matter of days before their newest addition arrives, and I still can’t get over how GREAT mom looks! Can you believe this is #4? Amy, I wish you all the best in these next few days and can’t wait to see the little one!

Little Man “P” is 1!

I have had the pleasure to photograph this adorable little man for the first year of his life. I was there when he got home from the hospital, when he starting smiling, crawling and now taking his first steps on his first birthday. He is definitely a busy boy keeping up with his two older brothers. He made me (and his mom) work very hard for photos we got! (Wow! 1 year old, keep you on your feet!) Mom wanted to make sure we got documentation of those great curls before Dad took him to the barber for his first haircut. And can you believe it was a calm day for his hair? LOL!  Happy Birthday “P”!!!

hoppy easter!

We were lucky enough this year to have a beautiful Easter and get to enjoy the beginning of spring. The nice weather definitely gets you in the mood for Easter egg hunts! This year, K got to experience her first egg dying extravaganza! By now, J & C are old pros, but we definitely still need to keep a close eye on them. 🙂  Due to the nice weather, we set ourselves outside so it was much easier to clean up the mess after 3 children. I just wonder, is it only my three? or do other little ones seem to get more dye on them than their eggs? I hope you had a wonderful day celebrating, spending time with family and hunting down all the eggs and chocolate. I know we did, I just hope C can find his one last missing egg, soon!

I just LOVE the concentration on C’s face in this one. So serious! LOL!
