What do you have when there is a beautiful summer night, two lively kiddos and a perfect setting? A magical session with an abundance of smiles and laughs, of course!

giggles and smiles

Sometimes trying to capture siblings together having fun can be the most difficult part of a session. Apparently not for this one. 😀 These two cracked me up! I was giggling and smiling right along with them! Cayne Family, thank you for the fun afternoon!

sweat dreams little man

Congratulations to Brenda & Adam! Your new little man couldn’t have been any sweeter! He slept so well and then was an angel when we was awake. chagrin falls_baby_photography_5chagrin falls_baby_photography_1chagrin falls_baby_photography_2chagrin falls_baby_photography_7chagrin falls_baby_photography_6chagrin falls_baby_photography_4chagrin falls_baby_photography_8chagrin falls_baby_photography_3

what to wear?

This is a question that is asked for just about every session I photograph. I tell my clients that you want to stay true to your style, but “spiff” it up a bit. 😉 Adding accessories that you might not wear everyday gives you that little extra “togetherness” for photographs. For families, it is also good to first pick a color scheme and then build from there. Add a print and then a texture and move from one family member to the next. And shoes, don’t forget the shoes! It always makes me think of a preschool picture of my sister. My mother had her dressed in an adorable dress, her hair was all curled, she  looked so cute. However, when my mother received the pictures back, there were her mismatched shoes laces in her tennis shoes! Mom never thought it would be a full length shot. Details count when it comes to pulling a look together.
